#CPRWeek Twitter Party

The week of June 1st is CPR week, and we are helping the American Heart Association get the word out about the importance of learning CPR. The American Heart Association wants one million people to learn about CPR between June 1st and June 7th. The goal is to increase awareness about CPR and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) so that people will know what to do if someone suddenly collapses from cardiac arrest.

#SauteToday Twitter Party

With summer quickly approaching, it’s not enough to just fire up the grill; bring out the sauté pan! Sautéing is the number one cooking method in America and there are ways to master the technique. Culinary expert Tori Ritchie will be hosting a Twitter party to celebrate and educate on the art of sautéing. The first 100 “attendees” to the virtual party will receive a free copy of “The Heart-Smart Diabetes Kitchen: Fresh, Fast and Flavorful Recipes Made with Canola Oil” cookbook, which was recently released from CanolaInfo and the American Diabetes Association.
